Thanks Pablo! On my YT channel I have videos on the build out of the van and talk about the bed which will eventually be on slides for adjusting the distance, however with the flip door on the desk fully extended in the open position the set up is comfortable and works for me. Putting the bed on slide rails is a low luxury priority at the moment. I had a few requirements when I was looking for this van. I wanted a 3500 1 ton for hauling, the extended model, relatively low miles, and the ability to maintain a "work van" look for concealed/stealth city van camping. The van is registered as a commercial vehicle as well, which gives me a little more parking freedoms. As long as I don't spread my camp outside my van, I can pretty much park where ever I want and know one is aware I am camping. I like not having side windows, when I install a max dome fan I will convert the rear windows into pop outs for air flow. I work a lot on the road, most of the time I am only a couple hours away from where I live and just camp out a few days at a time to save fuel, drive time and milage. I still have a lot of work left to do on the van, but the vision is coming to fruition!
well done Jason. Gladly subscribed, I've got similar ideas for the van alterations so looking forward to follow you. Your office seems spacious and practical, no windows but you can open the doors I assume. Isn't the seating support too distant from the desk/monitor, for longer work?
